It’s a simple fact:

Ok now we have a Video Salesletter (VSL) that we know did convert, very well, in the not-too-distant past. (In this case, within the past year)

What happened? WHY did this ad stop working after $250k+ spent?

The most likely culprit: Creative Fatigue.

And the easiest way to extend the lifespan of a winning creative?

Let’s take a closer look at all the long-form ads that have run for this offer (in this case all around 27-28 minutes):

All 3 long-form ads have EXACTLY the same intro:

Now when we zoom in and look at all the ads running for this offer, you’ll see a couple things:

First, all ads are running to a variation of the same landing page:

For each, you have the same VSL above the fold followed by a long form text sales page.

As for the ads: Even though the main long form ads are not running, right now there IS actually a short form ad (2:01 long) running at small spend, pointed at these same landing pages:

😓 So what’s the easiest way to ā€œwake upā€ this particular Sleeping Giant offer?

Simple:

We are going to create a NEW video with the offer’s existing assets we have to work with here:

  • Hook/Intro: We will add part of the short form ad on as the ā€œhookā€ that will lead into this long form video.

  • ā€œCoreā€: We are going to keep the ā€œcoreā€ of the ad the same: the main ~28 minute VSL. We know it converts.

Here’s the specifics on one way to slice these ingredients into a single new ad:
